Back to School & Christmas Shopping time already?
With memorial day and the 4th of July behind us, as a Mom, i find my thoughts now turning towards the next seasonal event sneaking up on me. Getting the kids ready for going back to school and trying to get myself ready for the Christmas shopping season.
With three of my children in high school and one in college I usually try to start early with the back to school shopping and this year offers no difference. The one thing that will be different in our home, this year, in getting school supplies will be skipping the multiple trips to Walmart or Target and getting what i can online. Granted, bopping over to one of the major super stores is somewhat convenient although it's not always with the results of best selection or price.
Now, I know, 1st hand that shopping online can be overwhelming and somewhat chancy but i have found a few reliable sites and even quite a few reviews on what's popular both in back to school items (oh, especially for my college bound daughter) as well as what's "hot" with the kids for this Christmas. After looking at the review of "Best Selling Back to School Items" I not only got some wonderful ideas but was able to go right to the sellers site and do a bit of comparison price shopping.
Well, needless to say that I'm confident in shopping online and I've bookmarked the reviews at http://ResearchNReviews.com for future use. The articles there are objective, up to date with the dynamics of today's life style as well as covering a vast spectrum of topics. From my current shopping needs to even some very useful information on helping my Dad in changing his Medicare Insurance plan, I'm learning to trust the editors at Http://ResearchNReviews.com and really look forward to their up and coming article on Toys for Christmas. What i read in their "teaser" for that articles is that they'll be reviewing the "old school toys" from back in my husband's day of erector sets, Lego's and slot car racing sets to the "hot" and "must haves" of today's Christmas Choices.
With luck, I'll be done with my back to school and Christmas shopping well before September (except, of course for those last minute impulse items) and I'll be able to get around to planning the best Halloween party our family's hosted in quite some time.
Hope your summer's going well!

Long Term Water Storage & Emergency Water Purification
i found quite a few and rather lengthy articles on long term water storage as well as the ways to go about emergency water purification. they were quite the read to say the least.
one video that i did like for it's practical approach to pre-emergency preparation was this one by Modern Survival Blog that's hosted on YouTube.
Since it takes a bit of time, on some systems, for the videos to load i don't think i'll be embedding too many more in this blog - the link (as placed above) seems to be in everyone's best interest. i do hope that if you're going forward with putting some energies into long term water storage that you give that video a view.

FREE hidden electricity in Your Home
How many times has it happened to you or your family that your home's power's gone out and you find yourself scratching around in the dark for a flashlight or candles? During extended power outages even cell towers will go "down" when their back up fuel runs out.
The one constant that usually remains is also the secret and FREE hidden electricity in your home.
Have a look at the below video (or click on the RED link above) for a quick "tell all" on what "they" don't want you to know. - there's a few seconds of adverts and then the video will play -

not too many years ago The Evolution of Dance by Judson Laipply became the most viewed video of all time on you tube.
if you haven't seen it yet, well, then you've gotta .... and, if you have then you should again.. have a smile and a few moments...
